Much more than a prize

How it works

cromAwards is an international art and design contest. But every entry leaves something permanent: a verified profile that follows the artist edition after edition. Here is how it works.

01

Your verified profile

One URL for everything

When you enter, your artist profile is created with its own code (CA-…) and a unique address. That is where your edition history, your works and your distinctions live.

Diplomas that can be checked

Every diploma and certificate carries a QR code pointing to your profile: anyone who scans it instantly confirms it is authentic. No tricks, no forgeable PDFs.

A credential on your phone

Your artist card can be added to Google Wallet (Apple Wallet coming soon) and shown in one gesture: name, code and verification QR.

The public portfolio is reserved for finalist and awarded artists; every other participant still gets their profile, history and verifiable documents.

02

Your work in front of galleries and collectors

You decide to be visible

From your private area you turn on —or off, with immediate effect— your presence in the «Available artists» directory, visible only to accredited galleries, curators and collectors.

Accreditation by hand

No gallery walks in on its own: the organisation reviews and approves every account one by one, and all of them accept specific terms of use that protect your work.

No commissions, your rights

cromAwards is a meeting point, not an intermediary: we charge no commission whatsoever and your work and its rights always remain yours.

03

Privacy and respect, by design

Your email is never shared

All communication with galleries goes through the platform, in private threads per artist. Notifications reach your inbox, but your address is never shown to the other party.

No pestering

A symmetrical 7-day rule: nobody can send a second unanswered message in a row. And either party can close a conversation for good.

Blind evaluation

The jury scores every work without knowing who its author is. If you use a pseudonym, the pseudonym is what gets published: your real name stays protected.

All of this is set down in writing: in the terms and conditions (clause 8 bis) and in the terms for galleries and collectors accepted by galleries.

If you are a gallery or a collector, request your free accreditation and get in touch with emerging talent.
