1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or device to remember information across pages or visits (for example, that you have logged in). The same legal regime applies to other technologies for storing and retrieving information on the user device, such as local storage (localStorage) or similar identifiers.

2. Cookies used by the Contest website

The site www.cromawards.com uses a single essential technical cookie, required for the website and the entry form to work.

Name: PHPSESSID.
Purpose: authentication and session maintenance during browsing and registration.
Owner: first-party.
Duration: session (non-persistent).

3. Is your consent required?

No. The session cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user (keeping the session active). Under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI and the AEPD Guidelines, essential technical cookies are exempt from the obligation to obtain prior consent. Its use is nonetheless disclosed for transparency.

4. Third-party cookies and tracking

The Contest website does not use third-party cookies or tracking tools: it does not use Google Analytics, the Meta/Facebook pixel, advertising cookies, tracking systems or cookie-based telemetry. Consequently, no profiling or third-party transfers derived from cookies are carried out.

Payment of the fee is made by redirection to the Stripe gateway. During that process, Stripe may set its own cookies on its domain, necessary to process the payment and prevent fraud, governed by Stripe's cookie and privacy policy. The Contest website (www.cromawards.com) does not set those cookies or any third-party tracking cookies.

5. Can I disable cookies?

You can configure or block cookies from your browser settings. As this is a strictly necessary cookie, blocking it will prevent the Site from working: it will not be possible to keep the session active or complete the registration. The privacy/cookies section of the settings in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari or Opera lets you manage them.

6. Changes to the cookie policy

If the website incorporates non-essential cookies in the future (for example, analytics or third-party features), prior consent will be requested through a mechanism that allows you to accept, reject or configure them on equal terms, and this policy will be updated.
